i have been to this resort multiple times. the architecture has a rustic style and is very pleasing. it feels like staying in a spanish mansion. the hotel provides a private beach within walking distance and has refreshing water. the staff is always very professional.

I really liked the large rooms. It. The daily housekeeping was a plus. Breakfast was included, also very convenient (i do appreciate these little conveniences). There were multiple pools to choose from, and all the restaurants and bars seemed great.

The main pool was closed for two of the four days I stayed. The closure was a bit disappointing (i wasn't expecting that). I requested a one-hour late checkout to accommodate a treatment but was denied. It led to canceling the massage, inconvenient.

the generosity shown was excellent. I received an upgrade to a premium plus room, and the balcony offered a great sea view. i was welcomed with bubbly and chocolate covered strawberries. wildlife abounded right on the hotel grounds. Sloths, capuchin monkeys, and macaws were frequent sights.

there were a few steps around the hotel to reach the restaurant. it was not a major inconvenience, but something to note.
